Nestled along the banks of the Kankakee River, it provides a blend of scenic beauty, historical charm, and natural spaces that make it a favorite spot for families to capture memories together.
For families who want a variety of backgrounds for their photos, Perry Farm delivers! At the end of August, when the summer sun is still shining but the edge of fall is in the air, it adds a beautiful golden, warm glow to each shot.

Tips for Your Family Session
• Coordinate, don’t match. Choose outfits in complementary colors that reflect the season! Think color tones — yellows, oranges, blues and earthy neutrals — that blend with the late summer environment.
• Timing is everything. Aim for a session either early in the morning or late afternoon to capture the best light and avoid the midday sun.
• Bring the essentials. Snacks, water, and a few toys or blankets can help keep little ones happy and comfortable during the shoot.
